I used to have an older Subaru that Mezzio’s serviced for years for me and quite well actually. It was 21 years old when I sold it and still running great. Upon receiving a Jeep as a gift I promised the giver I would take it to the dealership he used for services. BIG MISTAKE. To make a very long story a bit shorter the Dealership told me I needed a new radiator as it was rusting and leaking after dropping $1350 two days prior, it wasn’t mentioned at that time. And it sat there for days leaving me autoless and stuck home. Could not promise when they would find time to look at it. I was very dissatisfied with their work and said I would take my Jeep to my previous mechanic. Told them not to touch the radiator and picked up my Jeep. Come to find out through Mezzio’s inspection of it a clamp on a hose was broke and was causing the leak. Nothing was wrong with the radiator. My friend had also dropped over $2000 for brake services a year prior and Mezzio’s informed me the pads were 3mm thick and rotors bad. All 4 brakes needed servicing. So they never serviced them as charged for. I would recommend Mezzio’s to everyone, new car, old car, doesn’t matter. They went above and beyond for me, driving me home, securing a car for me while they had mine, and Zack is perfect. Courteous, pleasant, informative, and concerned with safety issues with the car first and foremost. Thank You Mezzio’s for saving me a near $2000 job that didn’t need to be done. You have a customer for life...
Marie, thank you so much for the kind words. In 1933 the Mezzio family opened one of the first Esso Gas Stations in CT. 88 years ago they established themselves as an honest, trustworthy, and hard working auto repair shop. Today the staff continues to provide honest and trusted advice for Automotive Repair, Maintenance Services, ST of CT emissions testing and State Certified Emissions Repairs. Marie, once again, thank you for noticing how hard the staff works to exceed a customer's expectations.
